Our karate program preserves traditional training while emphasising practical application. You will gain the skills, awareness and confidence to improve every day both in and outside the dojo.
No experience is needed. Our classes are structured to support complete beginners through to experienced practitioners.
Comfortable training or gym clothes are fine for your first few sessions. A karate uniform can come later.
We hold a minimum of ten classes (one per week) during each quarterly semester. Each class is for a minimum of 1 ½ hours. Classes are held at the Balwyn Community Centre at 412 Whitehorse Road, Surrey Hills, Victoria, Australia. Private classes can also be arranged.
You do not need to be fit to begin. Training helps improve fitness progressively at your own pace.
A low quarterly training fee covers all classes, instruction and membership. We do not charge extra for joining, annual membership, administration or other similar fees. Current training fees will be advised prior to joining. All active members also receive free access to our extensive online database. Grading or belt advancement fees apply when gradings take place, starting from $45.
