Foundations: Solidify key Goju Ryu fundamentals—stances, posture, breathing, and core technique. Emphasis is placed on precision, timing, and body alignment for sustainable progression.
Kata Refinement: Personalised breakdown and correction of Goju Ryu kata, including flow, timing and internal dynamics.
Applied Bunkai (Visible and Hidden): Explore realistic applications adapted to your level and goals, including layered and less commonly taught interpretations.
Power and Energy Principles: Internal body mechanics, structure, and movement to maximise efficiency, control, and impact with minimal force.
Sabaki, Waza & Kumite: Improve dynamic movement (tai sabaki), refine core techniques (kihon waza), and apply them through structured sparring. Sessions can include flow drills, distancing, timing, sparring strategies, distance and adaptive responses.
Private sessions are scheduled flexibly to suit your availability and training goals. There is no long-term commitment required—sessions can be arranged as a one-off, occasional support, or on a regular basis. Sessions usually run for a minimum of one hour. Book as a single session or create a tailored program over several weeks or months. We’ll work with you to build a schedule that aligns with your needs, goals, and availability.

Once we receive your Registration of Interest, we’ll send you full details of our fee structure. Fees will be based on the specific topic/s, time commitment, location format, instructor level and training frequency. Once we understand your requirements and level of experience, we’ll provide a clear outline of all costs. All pricing will be confirmed before your first session, so you can plan with confidence.
